We really like the new Espresso Pure machine from Gaggia of Italy.
It has a host of features that are normally found only on machines that are considerably more expensive. Most impressive is the inclusion of both a stainless steel boiler and the 58mm professional grouphead and the chromed brass filter holder. These features combine with a vibration pump to produce a cafe quality espresso shot, with lots of crema. Furthermore the Gaggia Espresso Pure machine is easy to use and heats up fairly quickly too.
Another thing we really like about the Gaggia Espresso Pure is the steamer that swivels a full 180°: Again this is a feature not usually found on machines at this price point.
The machine also comes with the Pannarello cappuccino accessory. This is an attachment that fits over the steam arm, with the idea to make steaming milk easier for the beginners. The jury's out on this feature, with some users finding it really helped them with foaming up milk, but others finding it made way too much foam. The good news is you can remove the Pannarello accessory if you don't like it.
